Kaduna Government Refutes El-Rufai’s Claim Over Projects Commissioned By President Tinubu

The Kaduna State Government has rejected claims made by former governor Nasir El-Rufai that all recently commissioned projects in the state by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu were initiated during his tenure.

In an official statement released by Ibraheem Musa, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Uba Sani, the government clarified that the projects in question were actually conceptualized and executed under Governor Sani’s administration.

The statement, titled “El-Rufai and his litany of lies”, condemned the former governor’s assertions as false and misleading, calling them a deliberate misrepresentation of facts.

According to the statement, President Tinubu inaugurated three major initiatives: vocational training and skills development institutes, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital in Kaduna, and a fleet of 100 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses.

“These projects—specifically, the Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa Institute in Rigachikun, Col. Dangiwa Umar Institute in Soba, and Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Institute in Samaru Kataf—were fully initiated and completed by Governor Uba Sani’s administration,” the statement noted.

It further emphasized that the initiatives align with the governor’s commitment to human capital development, aimed at equipping Kaduna’s youth with practical, market-ready skills.
