 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Kim Kardashian is officially entering her villain era! The SKIMS founder has been cast as the antagonist in Amazon MGM's upcoming live-action Bratz movie, marking another major step in her acting career evolution.


 Following Barbie's record-breaking $1.44 billion success in 2023, Hollywood studios are aggressively pursuing toy-based franchises, and Amazon won a fierce bidding war for the Bratz rights. The film will be written by Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick, with Kim not only starring but also producing the project.


 This casting comes as Kim continues to build her acting resume with roles in American Horror Story, upcoming Netflix comedy "The Fifth Wheel," and Ryan Murphy's drama "All Is Fair." The Bratz brand has sold over 200 million dolls since 2001 and boasts the highest social media engagement of any toy brand.
