 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00.  LAGOS STATE PARKING AUTHORITY OPENS AREA OFFICE IN YABA


‎In line with the Lagos State Government commitment for a continuous improvement in the parking management, the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), has commenced operation in its Area office in Yaba. The office which is located inside the Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) at 379, Herbert Macaulay way, Yaba, commenced operations in May, 2025.


‎Speaking on the initiative, the General Manager of LASPA, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, stated that the creation of the Yaba Area Office was a deliberate move by her Agency to ensure a broader and more efficient coverage of the Yaba axis. According to her, LASPA officials are now on ground in Yaba Local Council Development Area to ensure a smoother, safer parking experience and improve business turnaround time for residents.


While acknowledging that the Yaba office is the first Area office to be opened by LASPA, she noted that several other offices would soon be opened in order to ensure a faster and more efficient service delivery to the people in the various Local Government and Council Development Areas of the State.


‎The Yaba Area office is expected to serve as a Centre point for stakeholders engagement, enforcing compliance, and parking infrastructure development within the Yaba LCDA.
