 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Saudi Authorities Approve Burial of Aminu Dantata in Madina


The Saudi Arabian Government has approved the burial of prominent Nigerian businessman, Aminu Dantata, in the holy city of Madina.


His Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Junaid, confirmed the development in a post on his official Facebook page.


According to him, the remains of the business icon will be transported to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Abu Dhabi.


The funeral is scheduled to take place Monday morning in Madina.


Aminu Dantata, one of Nigeria’s most revered business moguls, died in Dubai after a prolonged illness at the age of 94.
