 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. TWO MALE SUSPECTS ARRESTED WITH 15 BAGS OF DAGGA WORTH R3 MILLION ON N1 NEAR MAKHADO. (PHOTOS).

 Two Male Suspects Arrested with 15 Bags of Dagga Worth R3 Million on N1 Near Makhado


A multidisciplinary operation conducted on Wednesday, 18 June 2025, led to the arrest of two male suspects after their vehicles, found transporting a total of 15 bags of dagga valued at approximately R3 million, were intercepted along the N1 near Makhado. 


The operation, involving the Provincial Flying Squad, Mopani Tracking Team, and Willie K9 Anti-Hijack Security, was launched following intelligence on two suspicious vehicles traveling from Mpumalanga along the R36. 


The suspects, aged 19 and 37, are expected to appear in the Makhado Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 20 June 2025, on charges of possession of dagga.
