President Donald Trump announced today that the United States has obtained "total control of the skies over Iran" in what many see as Washington's eagerness to invade the Islamic Republic.


"We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran," Trump wrote on social media. He said the US is able to liquidate Iran easily despite the country's impressive air equipment.


Trump also said the US can eliminate Iran's spiritual leader with ease.


"We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding. He is an easy target - but he is safe there. We are not going to take him out (kill), at least not for now."
