 JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Results, Set to Begin Candidate Ranking The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise. This crucial update marks the end of the testing phase for the current academic session, paving the way for the next stage of the tertiary admission process. According to a statement issued by JAMB's Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, candidates who sat for the mop-up examination can now access their performance details through the board's approved result-checking channels.  Wike Dares PDP Critics, Says No One Can Expel Him from Party


Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Monday, strongly rebuffed calls for his expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asserting that no one has the authority or courage to remove him. Speaking at a media parley in Abuja at 12:55 PM WAT, the former Rivers State governor emphasized his long-standing commitment to the party and challenged his detractors to justify their contributions compared to his.


“I am still in the PDP. I worked hard for the party,” Wike declared. “I have not seen anybody who will have the guts to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a member of the party.’ Who is that? What is his contribution to the party that is more than me?”


Wike’s comments come amid escalating tensions within the PDP, fueled by concerns over his role in the current administration and his political stance, which some party members view as conflicting with the party’s interests. Despite the criticism, the FCT minister insisted that his loyalty to the PDP remains unshaken and warned that he would not be easily ousted.
