 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker.  Tragic Loss: Woman Killed in Road Accident Days Before Reunion With Mother After 30 Years


A devastating road accident at Edjeba Junction near DBS, Warri, has claimed the life of Vivian Temi, a woman who was just days away from reuniting with her mother after more than three decades apart.


According to a report by Trish, the incident occurred on Thursday, June 5, as Temi was returning from the Nigerian Immigration Office. She had been making preparations for the long-awaited reunion with her mother, whom she had not seen in over 30 years.


Eyewitnesses allege that the accident was caused by a high-speed convoy belonging to an unidentified individual. The convoy, described as "reckless" and "overspeeding," reportedly crashed into the vehicle Temi was traveling in.


She was pronounced dead at the scene.


Temi, who would have celebrated her birthday on June 25, was widely known for her gentle spirit and love for children. Friends and members of her community have taken to social media and local gatherings to mourn her, remembering her as warm, soft-spoken, and deeply compassionate.


She is survived by her children and extended family.
