 LAGOS RE-INTRODUCES MONTHLY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE …Governor, Deputy lead State officials to clean up Mushin corridor Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday, announced the re-introduction of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation in the State. The Governor said the exercise will hold every last Saturday of the Month between the hours of 6:30am and 8:30am but without movement restrictions. He stressed that the exercise would be monitored by State officials with appropriate sanctions to be meted out to erring neighbourhoods and markets. Sanwo-Olu made the pronouncement during a ceremony held in Olosa Bus Stop in Mushin which marked the symbolic flag-off of the monthly sanitation. The Governor, who led his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and member of the State cabinet on the mission, said the culture of environmental responsibility must be imbibed by the residents across all communities in the state and reflect same in their lifestyle.  Alex ‎Otti Commissions Aba Export Growth Lab in order provide export development within the state.

‎Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has officially unveiled and commissioned the Aba Export Growth Lab to boost business and provide a platform for export development within the State.

‎Speaking at the Aba Export Growth Lab complex located in the premises of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, Governor Alex Otti noted that Aba has always needed a whole lot more support than it has been getting for decades

‎He explained that the essence of commissioning the Aba Export Growth Lab is to support entrepreneurs in the State to structure their production, standardise and package their products in a way that the products would be competitive in the global market.

‎"So, what we have come here to do is to support our people to structure their production, standardise, package and brand their products in such a way that it will be competitive in the international market."

‎"the things that we are producing in Aba and Abia, we can sell them beyond the borders of Aba and Abia"

‎Alex Otti urged entrepreneurs In the state to position themselves and their products for a global market stating that "if you cannot compete globally, don’t even try because you will just waste your time. And history records that there are a lot of countries, including Japan, that developed after the war through export"
