 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  ANONYMOUS DONOR PAYS ME N1M WEEKLY TO QUIT ACTING - NKECHI BLESSING


Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing said she is yet to return to full acting because an anonymous donor pays her N1 million each week to stay off acting. 


The controversial actress said she initially stepped away from acting to pursue other options. And when she decided to resume acting again, the mysterious donor showed up.


“I took a break from acting to pursue other things," she stated. "Having someone who placed me on a weekly salary was also part of the reason I stepped back, because guess what, I might not even earn N1 million from a movie.


“So, imagine meeting someone who puts you on a N1 million weekly salary. Anytime I told him I had to go on set, he would ask how much I’d be paid and then send me more than that.”
