Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure Alive And Well, Throneroom Debunks Death Rumour

The Throneroom (Trust) Ministry has strongly refuted viral online reports alleging the death of its founder, Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, calling the claims false, misleading, and deeply distressing.

The rebuttal, issued by Apostle Kure’s media aide, Richard Pius Garba, followed a misleading story published on certain online platforms including Daily Post and Gistlover, which incorrectly reported the clergyman's passing.

In a statement, Garba clarified that the deceased individual mentioned in the original announcement was Rt. Rev. Msgr. Emmanuel K. Kure, a Catholic priest under the Archdiocese of Kaduna — not Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure of the Throneroom Ministry.

"We categorically state that Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure is alive, healthy, and actively carrying out his spiritual and humanitarian duties," the statement read. "At no point has his health or wellbeing warranted such unfounded speculation or false reporting."

The ministry also condemned the misuse of Apostle Kure’s image in connection with the false reports, describing it as a violation of journalistic ethics and a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.

The statement called on the publishers of the erroneous story to immediately retract the article, remove all associated content, and issue a public apology for the emotional harm caused to friends, followers, and members of the Throneroom community both within and outside Nigeria.

Garba further urged the public to disregard the rumors and remain calm, assuring that Apostle Kure remains committed to his divine calling and the ongoing mission of national and spiritual transformation.

"Let this serve as a reminder to all media practitioners and content creators to adhere to the ethics of responsible journalism — verify facts before publication and respect the dignity of individuals," he concluded.
