 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  They told me I'll see something - Bechem United captain claims teammates used juju on him since he was made captain of the team


Bechem United captain Francis Twene has alleged that his recent absence from the Ghana Premier League was the result of a spiritual attack orchestrated by some of his own teammates.


“I was told directly by some of them that I didn’t deserve to be captain and they would do everything to bring me down, even if it means using spiritual means,” Twene stated on Fakye TV in an interview.


According to him, the mysterious health issues he experienced were not physical but spiritual. 


“I went to my spiritual father for help, and after several prayer sessions and spiritual diagnoses, he confirmed that what I was going through was not physical—it was a spiritual attack. 


"He said it was juju, and it was from people close to me—specifically my teammates.”


Twene revealed that he spent two weeks undergoing intense spiritual healing at his church. 


“It was a tough two weeks. I was weak, in pain, and confused. But I thank God I survived. It could have ended my career,” he added.
