 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Bechem United captain Francis Twene has alleged that his recent absence from the Ghana Premier League was the result of a spiritual attack orchestrated by some of his own teammates.


“I was told directly by some of them that I didn’t deserve to be captain and they would do everything to bring me down, even if it means using spiritual means,” Twene stated on Fakye TV in an interview.


According to him, the mysterious health issues he experienced were not physical but spiritual. 


“I went to my spiritual father for help, and after several prayer sessions and spiritual diagnoses, he confirmed that what I was going through was not physical—it was a spiritual attack. 


"He said it was juju, and it was from people close to me—specifically my teammates.”


Twene revealed that he spent two weeks undergoing intense spiritual healing at his church. 


“It was a tough two weeks. I was weak, in pain, and confused. But I thank God I survived. It could have ended my career,” he added.
