 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Coalition of Nigerian Youth leaders petition IGP over missing Anambra billionaire


‎Just Few weeks after the wife of the missing Anambra billionaire, BigBen, cried out for the intervention of President Bola Tinubu over the case of her missing husband, the Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), have also appealed to President Bola Tinubu to instruct the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and other security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into Ezemma’s disappearance.

‎In a statement released on Thursday in Awka, signed by CONYL President-General, Comrade Ibem Goodluck, the group expressed deep concern over the incident, describing Ezemma as a respected businessman and father of three young children, all under the age of five.

‎“We will not remain silent in the face of such injustice. Every moment counts. We stand in full solidarity with Mr. Ezemma’s family and demand swift government action,” 

According to the statement, ‎Ezemma, was reportedly last seen after honouring an invitation to a hotel meeting with a candidate in the upcoming 2025 Anambra governorship election. He has not been seen or heard from since.

‎CONYL maintained that the situation goes beyond a personal tragedy or state matter, stressing that it highlights broader issues related to national security and the rule of law

‎The coalition urged all relevant authorities to leave no stone unturned in uncovering the circumstances surrounding Ezemma’s disappearance and ensuring his safe return.
