 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  DR CONGO PAYS FC BARCELONA N71 BILLION FOR ADVERTS 


The Democratic Republic of Congo allegedly entered into a deal to pay FC Barcelona over ₦70.85 billion for a sponsorship deal that will promote tourism in the eastern African country.


According to the partnership, Congo will pay FC Barcelona €10 million to €11.5 million every year for four years for rights to advertize the African country on the club's jerseys, magazine, annual reports, websites, and advertising spaces.


The sponsorship will feature DR Congo as the "Heart of Africa" in terms of tourism and travel destination. It follows similar deals with AC Milan and AS Monaco at €14 million and €1.6 million respectively per season.
