 Kim Kardashian Awarded Symbolic 1 Euro in Damages Over 2016 Paris Robbery A Paris court has officially awarded media mogul Kim Kardashian a symbolic 1 euro ($1.15) in damages following the infamous 2016 armed robbery in the French capital. The ruling marks a major milestone in the reality star's quest for closure after what she previously described as the most terrifying ordeal of her life. Accountability Over Compensation The nominal sum awarded to Kardashian is exactly what she had requested from the court. In a joint statement with her stylist, Simone Harouche who was also present during the heist and received a matching 1-euro award Kardashian emphasized that the legal battle was never about money.  DSS, ARMY RESCUE CATHOLIC PRIEST KIDNAPPED IN MAIDUGURI


DSS operatives and military troops rescued a Catholic priest who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in Maiduguri, Bornu State, on June 1, 2025.


Reverend Father Alphonsus Afina and 10 women were kidnapped by the insurgents while travelling from Adamawa to Bornu State. 


The Catholic Bishop of Maiduguri Diocese and Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Borno State, Most Rev. John Bakeni, praised the DSS and military officers for their gallantry in rescuing the hostages. 


Reverend Father Afina served in the Archdiocese of Anchorage in Alaska in the United States from 2017 until 2024.
