 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem.  FORMER GOV. RASHIDI LADOJA SCHEDULED TO BE CROWNED NEW OLUBADAN


Following the unforseen death of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on Monday morning, former Governor Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, 81, is billed to become the next Olubadan. 


The 43rd Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, joined his ancestors on Monday, July 7, 2025, two days after celebrating his 90th birthday. He was crowned king in July 2024 by Gov. Seyi Makinde.


Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, who died in March 2024, was the Olubadan of Ibadan before the ascension of Olakulehin.


High Chief Ladoja of the Egbe Agbe Ruling House is next in line to the ancient throne of Ibadanland. He was crowned the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland in August 2024 by Oba Olakulehin.


Ladoja was a former senator and governor of Oyo State between 2003 and 2007.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
