 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Nollywood Veteran Tom Njemanze Appeals for Financial Aid in Prostate Cancer Battle


Veteran Nollywood actor Tom Njemanze has made a heartfelt plea for financial support to fund urgent surgery as he battles prostate cancer. The actor, currently hospitalized, shared his appeal in a viral video circulating online on Tuesday.


Filmmaker Stanley Ontop posted the video on Instagram, urging the public to assist Njemanze, a beloved figure in Nigeria’s film industry. “One of our Nollywood legends is sick and needs urgent surgery,” Ontop said. “Sir Tom Njemanze has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he needs your support to undergo surgery. Nothing is too small, fams. Help our legend live again.”


Njemanze is renowned for his roles in popular films such as Issakaba, Tokunboh, Atosa, Pounds and Dollars, Osuofia in London, Igbotic Love, and Brain Box. Fans and colleagues have begun rallying support for the actor, with calls for donations to help cover his medical expenses.
