 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  President Trump has officially directed the Department of Justice to pursue the release of grand jury testimony related to Jeffrey Epstein saying it's time for “any and all pertinent” documents to be made available, with court approval.


The move follows intense criticism from his base after Attorney General Pam Bondi walked back earlier claims about a supposed “client list” or revelations involving high-profile names.


Bondi now says the DOJ will file a motion tomorrow to request unsealing of transcripts. But legal experts warn the process will require court approval and may not produce the sweeping disclosures many expect.
