  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. Earlier yesterday, the Community of Tiv Students (CTS), Adamawa State University, Mubi, held its much-anticipated 2025 Tiv Day Celebration. The event was a colourful and memorable display of Tiv culture, heritage, music, and unity. It brought together students, staff, and well-wishers from within and outside the university community. The occasion was graced by notable personalities including the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Augustine Clement, ably represented by the Dean of Student Affairs; the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Marcel P. Agah; Prof. Joyce D., HOD of Agricultural Economics and Extension; Prof. Mrs. Asabe Ibrahim; Prof. S. T. Umar; Prof. Abigail Edward; Dr. Wahidi Ijasini; and Dr. Minnessi Glenn Kibikiwa, among others. Their presence added great honour and prestige to the celebration.


"In the course of the event, I was deeply humbled and honoured to receive a Leadership Award from the Community of Tiv Students as the Most Serving CTS President. This recognition not only celebrates my dedication and commitment to the growth and development of the association but also serves as a motivation to continue striving for excellence in leadership and service.
