Gregg Glenn III, a 22-year-old Tulane men's basketball player, died over the weekend in what has been described as a tragic accident. The university expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the talented student-athlete, who was recognized for his dedication both on the court and in the classroom. A Health & Wellness major from Pompano Beach, Florida, Glenn was known for his positive energy, kindness, and strong connection to the South Florida basketball community.

Glenn’s death was confirmed by the university, though specific details surrounding the accident have not been released. Just hours before his passing, he was active on social media, sharing posts from others. Coaches and university officials expressed their devastation, praising his commitment, spirit, and the impact he made on teammates and the broader community. Last season, Glenn started 34 games and averaged 10.6 points per game, leaving a lasting impression on Tulane’s basketball program.
