 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. A FLORIDA WOMAN IS FACING HOMICIDE CHARGES AFTER POURING ACID ON A SLEEPING MAN.(PHOTO).

 A Florida woman is facing homicide charges after pouring acid on a sleeping man.


A New Port Richey man who suffered severe chemical burns on Thursday, August 21st, has died.


According to New Port Richey Police, officers responded to a home on Slippery Rock Road after 50-year-old Chuanying He placed a 911 call on Thursday evening.


Police arrived on the scene to find an unidentified man suffering from severe chemical burns.  The man was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries two days later. 

Police say Chuanying He intentionally poured acid on the man while he was sleeping. She then barricaded the door, trapping the man inside of the room before calling 911. 


Authorities are not releasing the connection between Chuanying and the victim but have described the attack as a domestic incident. 


Chuanying He is facing charges of first-degree homicide and aggravated battery, causing serious bodily harm.
