 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A FLORIDA WOMAN IS FACING HOMICIDE CHARGES AFTER POURING ACID ON A SLEEPING MAN.(PHOTO).

 A Florida woman is facing homicide charges after pouring acid on a sleeping man.


A New Port Richey man who suffered severe chemical burns on Thursday, August 21st, has died.


According to New Port Richey Police, officers responded to a home on Slippery Rock Road after 50-year-old Chuanying He placed a 911 call on Thursday evening.


Police arrived on the scene to find an unidentified man suffering from severe chemical burns.  The man was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries two days later. 

Police say Chuanying He intentionally poured acid on the man while he was sleeping. She then barricaded the door, trapping the man inside of the room before calling 911. 


Authorities are not releasing the connection between Chuanying and the victim but have described the attack as a domestic incident. 


Chuanying He is facing charges of first-degree homicide and aggravated battery, causing serious bodily harm.
