Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing. Long before becoming fashion insiders, the sisters built global recognition as child actors through projects like Full House, It Takes Two, and New York Minute.  Abia Governor Urges Community Leaders to Uphold Integrity in Town Unions

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has called on community development union leaders to prioritize good governance and ethical leadership in communities across Abia State and Nigeria. Speaking during a meeting with the Abia State Association of Igbo Town Unions, led by President General George Mgbeorurukwe, on Wednesday, Otti expressed concern over individuals of questionable character occupying leadership roles in some communities.

Governor Otti emphasized that his administration seeks credible individuals for leadership positions, explicitly rejecting thieves, fraudsters, and those with untraceable wealth. “We don’t want thieves. We don’t want drug dealers, and we don’t want 419 people as leaders of town unions,” Otti stated, warning that corrupt leaders could foster criminal behavior within communities.

Otti urged the association to ensure that only reputable individuals are elected as community leaders, stressing the importance of producing leaders that communities can take pride in. He also encouraged union leaders to provide reliable intelligence to government and security agencies to help curb criminal activities in rural areas.

In response to a request from the union, Governor Otti approved the allocation of land for the construction of the association’s office in the state, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to supporting community development initiatives.

The governor reiterated his administration’s focus on transparency and accountability, pledging to closely monitor the leadership of town unions to ensure alignment with these values.
