 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  ANAMBRA POLICE LEVERAGES ON THE SUPPORT OF KADUNA POLICE COMMAND TO ARREST A WANTED SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER IN ZARIA, KADUNA STATE


_As the general security situation in the State remains calm with joint security patrols and other crime prevention operations ongoing_


The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the public that its Officers, with the assistance of the Kaduna State Police Command, have arrested John Chinagorom 'M’, a suspected kidnapper who has been on the Command’s wanted list.


This follows a credible intelligence received by operatives of the Ozubulu Police Division at noon of 1st August 2025, that the suspect, John Chinagorom, who is linked to a kidnapping Case reported on 15th April 2025, was sighted at PZ Park Road, Zaria, Kaduna State. Acting swiftly on the information, a team of Police detectives from the Division was despatched and they successfully apprehended the suspect at his hideout in Zaria, with the assistance of officers of the Kaduna State Police Command.


The suspect is currently in custody and is assisting the Police in the ongoing investigation. 


Meanwhile, the general security situation across other parts of the State remains calm, as counter-terrorism and other crime prevention operations continue.
