 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  ANAMBRA POLICE LEVERAGES ON THE SUPPORT OF KADUNA POLICE COMMAND TO ARREST A WANTED SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER IN ZARIA, KADUNA STATE


_As the general security situation in the State remains calm with joint security patrols and other crime prevention operations ongoing_


The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the public that its Officers, with the assistance of the Kaduna State Police Command, have arrested John Chinagorom 'M’, a suspected kidnapper who has been on the Command’s wanted list.


This follows a credible intelligence received by operatives of the Ozubulu Police Division at noon of 1st August 2025, that the suspect, John Chinagorom, who is linked to a kidnapping Case reported on 15th April 2025, was sighted at PZ Park Road, Zaria, Kaduna State. Acting swiftly on the information, a team of Police detectives from the Division was despatched and they successfully apprehended the suspect at his hideout in Zaria, with the assistance of officers of the Kaduna State Police Command.


The suspect is currently in custody and is assisting the Police in the ongoing investigation. 


Meanwhile, the general security situation across other parts of the State remains calm, as counter-terrorism and other crime prevention operations continue.
