 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Autopsy reveals rapper T-Hood was shot at least once in the back

An autopsy has confirmed that rapper T-Hood was shot at least once in the back during the incident that claimed his life. The 33-year-old also suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen, buttocks, and both thighs on August 8. He was taken to a nearby hospital by emergency responders but died shortly after arrival.

The shooting occurred inside a home in Snellville, Georgia, during what authorities described as a heated argument between T-Hood and two other individuals. According to the report, T-Hood pulled a firearm during the dispute, prompting someone else to open fire in what is being investigated as a possible act of self-defense. The identity of the shooter has not been confirmed, and no charges have been filed as police continue to review the circumstances.

Investigators are examining how the gunshot wound to T-Hood’s back may affect the case. Family connections have drawn attention to the incident, as T-Hood had been dating Kelsie, the daughter of reality television stars Kirk and Rasheeda Frost. Police records also reveal a prior incident from March 2025 in which Kelsie reported to 911 that T-Hood had taken her vehicle and computer following an argument. The investigation into his death remains ongoing.
