 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  BENUE: TRAGEDY STRUCK AGAIN IN GUMA LGA AS SUSPECTED FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACKS NGBAN VILLAGE 



Moments ago, the Council Chairman of Guma and Benue ALGON Chairman, Hon. Maurice Orwough visited the scene where fulani herdsmen kïllǝd two persons and tortured a lady who they kïdnæppǝd. 


The unfortunate scene happened today at Ngban, a settlement in between Daudu and Yelewata. The two vïctïms of of the sad incident are: Terkimbir Iorhen Igbawua and Mlumun Igbawua.


Hon. Orwough who rushed to the scene ordered security operatives to enforce full operations. He also took the tœrtured lady who regained freedom from her abductors to the hospital and she has been receiving treatment. 


The council chairman also directed the Local Government Security  Secretary to release funds for the burial of the victims slated for tomorrow. 


He assured the people that in no distance time, the crises would be a thing of the past, reiterated his promise to prioritize the security and safety of the people.


Hon. Orwough was accompanied to the scene by the Council Chairman of Ukum; Hon. Jonathan Modi, Council Chairman of Buruku; Hon. Raymond Zege and PSA to Benue Governor on Protocol and Wardrobe; Hon. Emmanuel Iorbee.
