 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali.  Brooke Hogan challenges Hulk Hogan’s estate, threatens legal action

Brooke Hogan has threatened legal action against representatives of her late father, Hulk Hogan’s estate, accusing them of spreading falsehoods about her. The 37-year-old said she is tired of ongoing rumors about their relationship and warned anyone involved to prepare for a lawsuit.

Brooke expressed frustration over the situation, saying she has endured too much and will no longer tolerate what she described as lies being spread by the estate’s representatives. She called on them to stop immediately, emphasizing she is ready to fight back legally.

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24 from a heart attack linked to leukemia at age 71. Brooke did not attend her father's funeral, choosing instead to honor her father privately with her twins and husband at the beach, citing her father’s dislike for traditional funerals.

In public comments, Brooke sought to end the public disputes with Hulk’s estate, urging everyone to let her father rest in peace. She also revealed that their estrangement stemmed from a series of private issues rather than one major fight and that she had asked to be excluded from his will two years prior.
