 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  ENUGU LAUNCHES 100 CNG BUSES TO CREATE 20,000 JOBS 


Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State rolled out 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses on Thursday with a view to creating new 20,000 jobs. 


The governor launched the buses while inaugurating the New Enugu Transport Management System and five modern bus terminals at Holy Ghost, Gariki, Abakpa and Nsukka.


Mbah said Enugu's GDP will grow to $30 billion in the next six years with the transportation overhaul in the state. He said this will uplift the economy and dignify the living standards of the people.


According to him, the projects will provide the people with cheaper, accessible and seamless movement as other infrastructure meant to support the projects and the new system are already in place.
