 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Family Disowns Purported Marriages Of Their Sons Nonso Michael Okolo And Arinze Norbet  Okolo To Adaeze Nwajagu And Chinaza Isabella Enemno, Respectively, In Anambra 


The Okolo family of Alor, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State, has officially issued legal notices disassociating themselves from two alleged marriages:


1️⃣ Mr. Nonso Michael Okolo & Miss Adaeze Nwajagu (Umuchukwu Town, Orumba South LGA)

2️⃣ Mr. Arinze Norbet Okolo & Miss Chinaza Isabella Enemno (Ogboji Town, Orumba South LGA)


👉 According to their lawyers, the family never gave consent, and these marriages involving their sons to their girlfriends, what ever marriage arrangements they are planning is considered invalid, unlawful, and of no customary effect.


They have also warned that any attempt to lure their sons (who reside abroad) back to Nigeria under false pretenses will be treated as a criminal act, with the families involved held personally and legally liable.


📌 Authorities, town unions, and security agencies have been officially notified.


The Okolo family insists their decision is final, citing irreconcilable differences in values and beliefs with the proposed brides.
