 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Hunter Biden says he will not apologize to Melania Trump despite lawsuit threat

Hunter Biden has refused to apologize to first lady Melania Trump, despite her legal team threatening a lawsuit over comments he made linking her to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a video interview released Thursday with journalist Andrew Callaghan, Biden dismissed the threat, saying, “F--- that. That’s not going to happen.”

The dispute stems from Biden’s August 5 interview, in which he suggested Epstein “introduced Melania” to former President Donald Trump and described the connections between Epstein and the Trumps as “so wide and deep.” Melania Trump’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, sent a cease-and-desist letter on August 6, calling Biden’s statements “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory” and threatening legal action seeking $1 billion in damages if Biden did not retract his claims. Biden responded by saying he does not believe in guilt by association alone but criticized what he saw as the Trumps’ attempts to distract from “glaringly obvious” connections. He also expressed willingness to participate in a deposition so the Trumps could clarify their relationship with Epstein, while characterizing the couple as “bullies” who hope the lawsuit would intimidate him.
