 Trump announces Hamas disarmament and Israeli troop withdrawal agreement under Gaza ceasefire plan   President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Hamas has agreed to a plan to disarm and that Israel will withdraw its forces from Gaza as part of a U.S.-backed ceasefire framework. Trump described the agreement as a major step toward creating a new Palestinian government in Gaza that would work with the newly established Board of Peace to oversee the next stages of the plan. The president said the agreement would also provide Israel with increased security by preventing Gaza from being used as a launching point for future attacks. Details of the agreement were limited, and neither Israel nor Hamas immediately released statements responding to Trump’s announcement. The Board of Peace said Hamas had agreed to a roadmap for moving forward with the next phases of the ceasefire after months of negotiations.  I DON'T IDENTIFY AS NIGERIAN - KEMI BADENOCH


British Tory leader Kemi Badenoch has disclosed that she no longer identifies as a Nigerian and has not renewed her Nigerian passport in 20 years.


“I have not renewed my Nigerian passport, I think, not since the early 2000," she said. “I don’t identify with it any more. Most of my life has been in the UK and I’ve just never felt the need to.”


Badenoch said she was born in the UK and is Nigerian by ancestry, but she has never really identified with the country even though she lived in Lagos State for more 10 years. 


“But home is where my now family is, and my now family is my children, it’s my husband and my brother and his children, in-laws. The Conservative Party is very much part of my family, my extended family, I call it.”
