 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site.  INEC ANNOUNCES NATIONWIDE CONTINUOUS VOTER REGISTRATION

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the Nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) will run from August 18, 2025, to August 30, 2026 across the country.


Online pre-registration begins on August 18, while physical registration at State and Local Government INEC offices will commence on August 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekdays only.


Eligible Nigerians are urged to complete their registration by visiting cvr.inec.gov.ng or cvr.inecnigeria.org before proceeding for physical capture.
