 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  MAN WEDS TWO FRIENDS SIMULTANEOUSLY IN ABIA 


An Igbo man has married two friends at the same wedding ceremony on Saturday in Abia State. 


The groom, Chinedu, married Blessing and Kelechi as wives in a traditional wedding ceremony that was agog with merriment and food surplus. 


The double wedding held at Umuacha/Amuzu Primary School in Isiala-Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State. 


The idea of marrying two or more wives in a single wedding ceremony is not alien in Africa, but it still piques people's fascination anytime it takes place.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
