Miley Cyrus could soon be taking over the talk show circuit.
Reports indicate that the singer and former Disney star is in discussions with NBC for her own show, with the network reportedly offering a $60 million deal for the first season. If produced, the show would reportedly follow the format of celebrity-focused programs like “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and “The Drew Barrymore Show,” featuring interviews, live performances, and human-interest stories. While neither NBC nor Cyrus has confirmed the plans, sources suggest production could start later this year, with a possible 2026 premiere.
Cyrus has previous ties to NBC that may have helped secure the opportunity. She served as a coach on “The Voice” in 2016 and 2017, and hosted two New Year’s Eve specials for the network in 2021/2022 and 2022/2023, also serving as an executive producer alongside Lorne Michaels. Cyrus has credited Michaels with giving her guidance during difficult moments, including a ruptured ovarian cyst she suffered while hosting the 2022 NYE special.
In addition to her TV experience, Cyrus has remained busy with music. She released her ninth studio album, “Something Beautiful,” in May, followed by a visual companion film for the album in June. She also confirmed plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Hannah Montana” in March 2026.
