Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search. NASA’s Webb telescope discovers a new small moon orbiting Uranus 

NASA’s Webb Space Telescope has discovered a new tiny moon orbiting Uranus.

The moon, revealed Tuesday by NASA, is estimated to be only six miles (10 kilometers) wide. It was detected by Webb’s near-infrared camera during observations conducted in February.

Scientists believe the moon went unnoticed for decades—including during Voyager 2’s flyby roughly 40 years ago—because of its small size and faint visibility.

Uranus now has 29 confirmed moons, with the new discovery adding to the 28 already known. All of Uranus’s moons are named after characters from Shakespeare or Alexander Pope, and roughly half are smaller moons that orbit closer to the planet. This latest moon has yet to receive an official name.
