 Kristin Chenoweth celebrates 58 years since her adoption with tribute to her parents Kristin Chenoweth has marked the anniversary of the day she was adopted by Jerry and Junie Chenoweth, sharing a tribute to the parents who raised her. The Broadway star celebrated her "Gotcha Day" on Thursday, July 30, describing it as the day her parents brought her home 58 years ago and she became a member of the Chenoweth family. "Yesterday was my GOTCHA DAY 🩷☀️ (it’s not just for pets!!) The day my parents brought me home 58 years ago and I became a Chenoweth," she wrote on Instagram. Chenoweth shared several photos with her parents, including moments from throughout her career and a picture of them supporting her work. One image showed her standing beside her mother near a large photo of Chenoweth wearing a hot pink outfit, while another featured her parents wearing shirts supporting her Broadway Bootcamp programme in Oklahoma.  POLICE ARREST SECURITY GUARD FOR MASTERMINDING BURGLARY, RECOVER STOLEN ITEMS


Detectives of Iju Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a security guard for conspiracy, house breaking, and stealing, with exhibits recovered.


On 15th August 2025, a resident of the Ifako area reported that upon returning home, he discovered his house had been broken into by unknown persons. Stolen items included one Sumec generator, one Fireman generator, one National air conditioner and three air conditioner compressor engines, all valued at ₦1,785,000 (One Million, Seven Hundred and Eighty-Five Thousand Naira).


Following investigation, detectives arrested one Yisa Hassan aged 38, a security guard in the same neighborhood. Further investigations revealed that the suspect conspired with others still at large to commit the crime. Stolen items have been recovered, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend his accomplices. The case will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.


The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh assures Lagos residents that the Command will leave no stone unturned in bringing criminal elements to justice while urging them to always do proper background checks of employees before engaging them.
