  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Alleged Criminal Syndicate Members Gunned Down in Mpumalanga


Police in Calcutta are investigating three counts of murder after three men, alleged to be part of a Pretoria-based criminal syndicate, were shot and killed in Mkhuhlu (Rozol) near Bushbuckridge.


The incident happened on Friday, 22 August 2025, around 11h00. The victims, including Wilfred Owami Dludlu, were travelling in a charcoal Mercedes-Benz with Gauteng registration plates when unknown suspects opened fire, riddling the vehicle with bullets.


Police and medical personnel rushed to the scene near Mkhuhlu Hospital, where two of the victims were certified dead on arrival. The third victim was taken to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Several spent cartridges were recovered at the scene.


No arrests have been made. Police have appealed to members of the public with any information to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
