 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  SNOOP DOGG DECRIES LGBTQ SCENES IN KIDS MOVIES


Legendary American rapper and actor, Snoop Dogg, criticized the rising inclusion of LGBTQ+ storylines into children's movies. 


The 53-year-old performer said he once took his grandson to watch Pixar’s 2022 release Lightyear at the cinema, and he was embarrassed to see LGBTQ+ scenes that he could not explain away.


He recalled his grandson asking why a woman married another woman and why they raised a kid in the movie. 


“It f----- me up. I'm like, scared to go to the movies," Snoop said. "Y'all throwing me in the middle of sh-- that I don't have an answer for.


“It threw me for a loop. I'm like, 'What part of the movie was this?


“These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They're going to ask questions. I don't have the answer...and they're putting it everywhere."
