SON OF FORMER UFC CHAMPION QUINTON JACKSON ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTS PRO WRESTLER AT LOS ANGELES SHOW. (PHOTO).

Son of former UFC champion Quinton Jackson allegedly assaults pro wrestler at Los Angeles show

Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, allegedly attacked a professional wrestler during an indie show in Los Angeles on Saturday night, video of the incident shows. Quinton Jackson described the situation as “bad judgment, and a work that went wrong.”

The footage shows Raja Jackson entering the ring at a KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event during a match and slamming wrestler Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu, to the mat. Jackson then mounted Smith and delivered nearly two dozen punches to his face before other wrestlers intervened. Smith appeared to lose consciousness and lay motionless in the ring, bleeding from the face. Quinton Jackson later said he had been informed Smith was “awake and stable.”

Los Angeles police confirmed officers responded to the scene near Lankershim Boulevard and took a report, but no arrests were made. Detectives are reviewing the incident to determine the next steps. Raja Jackson has not responded to requests for comment, and Smith has also not commented.

Quinton Jackson emphasized that his son “had no business being involved in an event like this” and that he does not condone Raja’s actions. KnokX Pro Wrestling issued a statement apologizing to fans and confirming the attack was not planned, calling it “a selfish, irresponsible act of violence.”

The livestreaming platform Kick, which broadcast the event, said Raja Jackson’s account was suspended for violating guidelines against excessive violence.

Earlier footage from the event showed Smith crushing a can on Raja Jackson’s head, apparently unaware that Jackson was not a professional wrestler. Quinton Jackson noted that his son had sustained a concussion during sparring days earlier and was told he could get “payback” in the ring.

Raja Jackson, 25, has a professional MMA record of one win and one loss, while his father is a former UFC champion who has also competed in pro wrestling.
