  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  TRENDING VIDEO OF AN ALLEGED GRUESOME KIDNAPPING INCIDENT IN AMANSEA: CP ORUTUGU CONDEMNS THE BARBARIC ACT AND ORDERS NECESSARY ENQUIRY ON THE VICTIM FOR POLICE INVESTIGATION


The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, *CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS PhD*, has condemned in the strongest terms the heartless and barbaric act which is currently trending in the social media. This follows a trending video of a tragic incident involving the abduction of a young boy and his two sisters in the State, which led to the cruel murder of the boy by suspected kidnappers.


The *CP* while condoling with the grieving family as well as the good people of Amansea, ordered the Operatives of the State Intelligence Department to identify the survivor to assist the Police in its Investigation. The Command urges members of the public to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative by providing credible information that will aid the swift arrest of the suspects. 


The *CP* reiterated the Command's resolve to remain firm in the fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes in the State. He further assured that the Command will continue to prioritize the protection of every citizen in line with the constitutional responsibility of safeguarding lives and property.
