No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

EX-BENUE SPEAKER PENS APPRECIATION, I HAVE MOVED ON

25th August, 2025

It's no longer news that I turned in a resignation letter as the Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly yesterday being the 24th day of August, 2025.

And I have moved on.

I want to specially appreciate my constituents of Gboko West (Gbemacha) that first voted me as a member of the 10th Benue Assembly. I am eternally grateful to them.

I appreciate my dear colleagues who voted me in as the first  Speaker of the 10th Assembly and gave me the needed support to the very last day in office.

My heartfelt appreciation also goes to the governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia for his support from the beginning of my being the speaker to my exit.

May I say a big thank you to my aides who were always there in helping me run the office. You guys are great and wonderful. I appreciate the staff of the Assembly too. Your technical support is well appreciated.

And to everyone who gave me a helping hand while in office, know that your service has not gone unacknowledged.

May I specially appreciate my wife, Kundumiyol Dajoh, who gave me the desired love,  and support while in office. She is the best example of a supportive wife. I appreciate all my family members too.

Finally and above all, my thanks goes to the almighty God, the maker and giver of all things. I thank you God for the good health, wisdom and grace. May your name be praised both now and forever.

May God in His infinite goodness, bless you dear family, friends (on-line too), well wishers and people of goodwill for your outpour of love, camaraderie and support.

Let there be peace and let's move on. The journey is still ahead.
