 Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau spotted sharing beach getaway in the South of France Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were photographed spending time together during a beach outing on the French Riviera. The pair visited Club 55 on Pampelonne Beach on July 29, where they were seen swimming in the Mediterranean, relaxing on the beach and sharing drinks during the day. Photos also showed the couple embracing on sun loungers and sharing a kiss while in the water. Perry wore a brown two-piece outfit with a straw tote bag before changing for a swim, while Trudeau was dressed in green swim trunks and sunglasses. The outing is the latest public appearance for the couple, who were first linked in July 2025 after being seen dining together in Montreal. They confirmed their relationship later that year after attending a cabaret show in Paris together.  US confirms killing of senior ISIS leader in Syria 

U.S. forces killed a senior ISIS official in northern Syria on Tuesday, the U.S. Central Command (Centcom) confirmed Thursday.

The raid targeted a high-ranking ISIS member who also acted as a key financier responsible for planning attacks in Syria and Iraq. Centcom said the official maintained networks in the region, representing a direct threat to U.S. and coalition forces as well as the new Syrian government.

“We will continue to pursue ISIS terrorists with unwavering determination throughout the region,” Centcom commander Adm. Brad Cooper said. “Together with our partners and allies, CENTCOM remains committed to ensuring the lasting defeat of ISIS and protecting the U.S. homeland.”

The operation follows a similar strike last month in which U.S. forces killed senior ISIS leader Dhiya’ Zawba Muslih al-Hardani and his two adult sons, all of whom were linked to planning attacks against coalition forces and the Syrian government.
