 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 2025 EID-UL-MAWLID: ENUGU CP FELICITATES MUSLIMS, CALLS FOR TOLERANCE AND PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE 

The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, heartily felicitates Muslim faithful in Enugu State on the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He prays that the timeless virtues of peace, love, humility, and sacrifice exemplified by the Holy Prophet shall continue to dwell in our hearts, homes, and land.

CP Giwa urges Muslim faithful and all residents of the State to emulate these virtues in their daily lives, while also using the occasion to foster peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and unity. He further reassures the good people of Enugu State of the Command’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property, as well as the maintenance of law and order during and after the celebration.
