 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  First Lady Condoles With Arise News Media Over The Death Of Somtochukwu Maduagwu


Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has expressed sadness over the unfortunate and untimely death of a staff of Arise News Media, Somtochiukwu Maduagwu.


In a condolence message, she describes Somtochukwu as one of the nation’s young and brilliant minds in the journalism profession, noting that it was  painful to see her life cut short in her prime.


While condoling with the Chairman, Arise News Media, Chief Nduka Obaigbena, Somtochukwu’s  family, friends,  colleagues, and loved ones, the First Lady expresses hope that the perpetrators are apprehended as soon as possible and brought to book.


She prays God to grant repose to the soul of the deceased and gives her family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
