 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013.  Gunmen Assassinate Catholic Priest In Enugu


Gunmen Have Killed A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Mathew Eya, In Eha-Ndiagu Community, Eha-Alumonah, Nsukka Local Government Area Of Enugu State.


Fr. Eya, Parish Priest Of St. Charles Catholic Church, Was Shot Dead On Friday Evening While Returning From Enugu.


Sources Reported That The Attackers, Riding On A Motorcycle, Intercepted His Vehicle Near An Ongoing Type C Hospital Project. They Allegedly Fired At The Tyres, Forcing The Car To Stop, Before Shooting Multiple Times At Close Range.


While Some Accounts Linked The Incident To Possible Kidnapping, Others Suggested It Was More Likely An Assassination, As The Priest Was Alone In The Vehicle And No Abduction Occurred.


The Late Cleric Was A Native Of Ugbaike In Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area.


As Of Press Time, Both The Police And The Catholic Diocese Of Nsukka Had Not Issued An Official Statement On The Killing.
