 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  HORROR AT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: DECOMPOSED BODY FOUND IN A CAR

Shock and panic gripped the National Assembly complex in Abuja on Sunday after the rotting body of a 55-year-old man was discovered inside a car parked near the annex gate.


The deceased, identified as Gaddafi Iwar, a Tiv construction worker, was found slumped in a red Peugeot 406 with registration number BWR-577 BF around 9:00 a.m., his body already badly decomposed.


Security operatives and health workers rushed to the scene, moving the corpse first to the National Assembly Clinic and then to Asokoro General Hospital. But doctors reportedly refused to admit the remains due to the advanced state of decay.


In a dramatic turn, Tiv community leaders and youths ferried the body to Gbawu Village, on the AMAC–Kuje border, where he was hurriedly buried to prevent a health crisis.
