 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. INDIA: A CLASS 9 GIRL WAS ALLEGEDLY RAPED INSIDE A CAR BY A MAN IN ODISHA’S KANDHAMAL DISTRICT, POLICE SAID ON SUNDAY.(PHOTO).

 A class 9 girl was allegedly raped inside a car by a man in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, police said on Sunday.


According to officials, the incident took place on Friday evening after the girl had visited her elder sister’s house and later went to the Daringbadi market to watch the Ganesh Puja immersion procession.


On her way home, she reportedly accepted a lift from a man who then allegedly raped her inside the vehicle, police said, citing the complaint filed at the Daringbadi police station.


Police have recorded the statement of the survivor and conducted her medical examination as part of the investigation.


The accused, who is a married man, is currently absconding. Police have launched a search operation to trace him.
