  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Limpopo man arrested after allegedly pointing firearm at shop employee


A 44-year-old man has been arrested in Westenburg, Polokwane, after he allegedly pointed a firearm at a shop teller in Ladanna.


Police said the incident occurred on Thursday, September 18, when the suspect, who was a customer, threatened to shoot the employee during an argument. Officers responded quickly and found the man still at the shop.


“During the interview, the suspect admitted to pointing the teller with a firearm, which was inside his vehicle,” police spokesperson said.


Further investigations led officers to the suspect’s workshop, where additional firearms were found. A search of his farm also uncovered four rifles and ammunition.


The suspect claimed the weapons belonged to a client who had brought a vehicle for service at his workshop.


He was arrested on charges of pointing a firearm and possession of suspected unlicensed firearms and ammunition.


The man is expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday, September 22.
