 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.   Ooni Visits Ladoja Ahead Of Coronation


The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Sunday, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, ahead of his coronation.


The visit, which held on September 21, 2025, attracted members of the Olubadan-in-Council, Ibadan Mogajis, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), students of Ibadanland as well as prominent personalities, including broadcaster and musician, Dr Yinka Ayefele.


Addressing guests, the Ooni described Ladoja as a symbol of resilience and fulfilment, noting that his life reflects the adage “what you sow is what you reap.” He stressed that the coronation of the former governor of Oyo State as Olubadan of Ibadanland was a rare blessing and a culmination of distinguished service both in politics and traditional leadership.


“Ladoja has served as governor, a political father to many, and today, he is ascending the Olubadan stool. This is a testimony to hard work, grace and destiny,” the Ooni said.


He further urged indigenes and residents of Ibadan to maintain peace before, during and after the coronation, which is expected to attract dignitaries, including President Bola Tinubu, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, and other political heavyweights.


As a mark of royal solidarity, the Ooni presented a symbolic artefact to the Olubadan-designate, describing it as a token of unity and friendship between the thrones of Ife and Ibadan.


The visit comes as preparations intensify for what is expected to be one of the most colourful coronation ceremonies in the history of Ibadanland.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
