 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Sophie Turner to star as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider series

Sophie Turner, known for her roles in Game of Thrones and X-Men, has been cast as Lara Croft in the upcoming Prime Video series Tomb Raider.

The character, previously brought to the big screen by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, will now star in the new TV adaptation, with production set to begin January 19, Amazon MGM Studios announced Wednesday.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, creator and star of Fleabag and Crashing, will serve as creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner, joined by co-showrunner and executive producer Chad Hodge and director/executive producer Jonathan Van Tulleken.

Turner said in a statement, "I am thrilled beyond measure to be playing Lara Croft. She's such an iconic character who means so much to so many — and I am giving everything I've got. Following in the steps of Angelina and Alicia is daunting, but with Phoebe leading the project, Lara is in very safe hands. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store."
