 43 children among 79 civilians killed in paramilitary RSF drone attack in Sudan's South Kordofan At least 79 civilians, including 43 children, were killed and 38 others injured in a drone strike carried out by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in South Kordofan, Sudanese authorities said, TRT Afrika reported. In a statement, the South Kordofan state government said four women were among the victims in Thursday’s attack on the city of Kalogi in western Sudan. It said the drone fired four missiles into a kindergarten, a hospital and densely populated residential areas, describing the incident as a "heinous crime" committed by the RSF-allied Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). Authorities had initially reported eight fatalities, including six children and a teacher, before the death toll climbed to 79.  Texas Governor, Ted Abbott bans Sharia Law and declaration of ‘Sharia cities’ after Imam asks shops not to sell booze and pork


Texas Governor Ted Abbott has banned all Sharia Laws and the declaration of Sharia-compliant cities and towns.


Mr Abbott made this announcement on X, while responding to a video of protesters carrying placards in support of Sharia law.


“I signed laws that BAN Sharia Law and Sharia Compounds in Texas,” Mr Abbott said, reacting to the viral video of Sharia law advocates. “No business and no individual should fear fools like this.”


The Texas governor added, “If this person, or ANYONE, attempts to impose Sharia compliance, report it to local law enforcement or the Texas Dept. of Public Safety.” 


Video from the protest shows a Houston-area Islamic cleric demanding shopkeepers stop selling alcohol, pork, and lottery tickets to comply with Islamic Sharia laws.


Speaking with a megaphone in the video, said, “People should not violate the religion of Islam by selling products that are against our religion. Because we should love what Allah loves and hate what Allah hates.


“We will be visiting all the stores in the neighbourhood where the religion of Islam is ignored.”.
